Dr. Marc DuPéré, board certified Plastic Surgeon, originally trained at the prestigious McGill University Faculty of Medicine from 1991 to 1996, in Montréal, where he received the Wood Gold Medal, awarded to the graduating student with the most outstanding clinical performance and the Campbell Keenan Memorial Prize in Clinical Surgery, awarded to the graduating student with the highest proficiency in Clinical Surgery. Bilingual, he then attended the world renowned University of Toronto where he completed his Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Plastic Surgery. He received numerous awards during his training in Toronto such as the F. M. Woolhouse Clinical Research Award, awarded to the best clinical study presented by a plastic surgical resident at the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons, the A.W. Harrison Resident Teaching Award, awarded to the surgical resident voted by the medical students to be the best teacher and the Best Clinical Paper at the Residents’ Research Day for his work on nerve root avulsion in obstetrical brachial plexus palsy.

In 2002, Dr. Marc pursued further training in cosmetic plastic surgery in Paris, France. It is while completing his fellowship training in Paris that he had the opportunity to work with internationally recognized plastic surgeons such as: Dr. Daniel Marchac, specializing in facial plastic surgery, Dr. Gilbert Aiach, a nasal plastic surgeon and at the time, president of the French Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, Dr. Natalie Bricout and Dr. Sylvain Pétouin, both with strong interests in cosmetic and reconstructive breast surgery. He subsequently spent some time with the Father of the Classic Neck & Facelifting procedure, Dr. B. Connell, in Los Angeles, and with the Dermatologist to the Stars, Dr. P. Wexler, in New York City. It is with a North American training and European refinement that Dr. DuPéré brings a uniquely Atlantic perspective and approach to the practice of aesthetic and plastic surgery.

Dr. Marc is also an avid photographer. He brings his artistic talents into his medical practice which demands both a high level of technique but also a refined and delicate artistry. His interests are in facial rejuvenation (eyelids, nasal reshaping, face and neck redraping), injectables, abdominoplasty (tummy-tuck), body contouring and breast aesthetics. He has also mastered the European technique of vertical breast reduction and lifting technique, minimizing the amount of required scars. Dr. Marc also has a strong interest in post-weight loss restoration. Finally, he has also developed the very unique North American expertise in abdominal etching and in pectoral, calf and buttock implant augmentation.
