Microlift

The Microlift has been developed for patients that want to maintain a more youthful appearance with very little downtime.

Designed for women and men between the ages of 40 – 60, who have mild to moderate jowling of the jaw line, and slight upper neck looseness.

The Microlift permanently tightens the underlying structure of the lower face resulting in a more youthful appearance.

It is important to remember that turning back the clock is possible as with any cosmetic surgical procedure but the clock will start to tick forward again.

Genetics and lifestyle choices will determine how long the results will last.

A modified “S” shaped incision is made beginning mid ear and extending around the earlobe and along the back of the ear. These incisions are hidden in that natural creases of the ear and will become unnoticeable as natural wound healing occurs.

The incisions are simply access to the underlying connective tissue and musculature which is gently lifted and tightened. Immediate improvement is seen and are long lasting.

An oral medication will be prescribed to help the patient relax. Although some patients are able to return to work within 3 – 4 days, it is recommended that most patients should expect 1 week of down time.
