Breast Lift or Mastopexy - The Ageless Clinic

What causes breasts to become saggy?
Sagging, also known as ptosis, occurs when the elasticity skin of the breast is put under pressure from vigorous exercise or the weight of the breast itself. A single cause does not cause breasts to sag. Weight loss, smoking, large breasts and pregnancy are all possible causes of ptosis or saggy breasts. Some women with naturally larger breasts are also prone to sagging.

What is a breast lift?
Breast Lift surgery, or Mastopexy, is a surgical procedure to lift the
sagging droopy breast tissue to obtain a more appealing shape and position without changing the size.

Who is a candidate for a breast lift or mastopexy procedure?
